Raymond Klefstad, Ph.D.
Shortest Biography
Raymond Klefstad received his Ph.D. degree in 1988 from the Department
of Information and Computer Science at the University of California,
Irvine (UCI). He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Henry Samueli School
of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. His research
focuses on middleware frameworks and component systems for distributed,
real-time, and embedded computing. He directs the Distributed Object
Computing lab at UCI and is an active member of the UCI Center for
Embedded Computer Systems (CECS), the UCI Institure for Transportation
Studies (ITS), and the California Institute for Telecommunications and
Information Technology (Cal(IT)2). Detailed and current information
